It has been a rambunctious start to the new year, with issues in the pet food industry raising their ugly head and the introduction of Librela, I have been fielding calls from numerous concerned pet owners.
To counteract all of the negative happenings and animals getting sick, I am offering a LIVE one-hour class on preventative wellness based upon seasonal healing and concepts from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Our ancestors lived according to the seasons and performed different wellness rituals based upon the season, i.e. cleanses in the springtime. Living in the flow of the seasons allows our bodies to settle in and flow with the energies instead of resisting them.
So here is your invitation:
Join me for a Live Webinar next Tuesday, February 27, at 2 pm EST on ZOOM.
Spring is just around the corner. The days are getting longer. The sun's rays are warming the seeds tucked away in the earth. The energy of rebirth is stirring! We feel it as spring fever!
Pretty soon tulips and crocuses will pop up along with all the baby spring greens including nettles, one of my favorites.
Traditionally, Spring is a time for cleaning things out. "Spring cleaning", internally and externally, clears out the stagnant energy and cobwebs from the long winter hibernation.
I remember my Grandmother, the wife of a cattle rancher, getting out the cod liver oil, the "parasite cleanse" as she called it, every spring to deworm the humans just as they dewormed the calves.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, springtime is the season of the WOOD element, which is the energy we witness when a seedling breaks out of the seedcoat, or a baby chick cracks through the eggshell. It is the energy of newly born life, crashing into the world, ready to go.
The organs associated with WOOD are the Liver + Gallbladder. The Liver governs the flow of Qi through the body - MOVEMENT!
I am going to introduce you to this element and what we can do to support it in our animals and even in ourselves in a LIVE one-hour class.
Whether we live with a Wood Constitution animal or not - and I will talk about identifying them - we all have a little Wood within us. It can be stirred up this time of year, just in case you are feeling impatient or raising your voice more than normal lately.
I will also go over some herbs, foods, and activities to help support and balance the Wood element, making the transition into spring easier for everyone.
If you have a dog with elevated liver enzymes, acid reflux, tendon or ligament issues, allergies, or seizures, this is the talk for you.
Hit the button below for more information and to register. I hope to see you there.
Love,
P.S. I will be announcing my signature course, "Be Your Pet's Hero: Preventative Wellness through the Seasons" and offering a special early-bird rate during the webinar.
Will this be recorded in case we can’t meet live on Zoom at that time?
