My #1 would be they try to sell you hundreds of dollars of supplements. The most unethical "holistic" practitioners I have dealt with (a prominent herbalist and a TCM vet) both insisted I buy a bag full of supplenents, none of which sloved any problem other than the dearth of cash in their pocket. My #2 would be shaming you about dietary choices. Yes, diet is important, no it's not the answer to all life's problems. My #3 would be you vet is overweight. If they can't maintain their own health, they can't be trusted to give advice on anyone else's, least of all your animal friend.
